Estoril Circuit hosts once again the MotoGP

As it happens since 2000, Estoril Circuit hosts once more the world main motorbike race, and one of the most important in motorsport events in the world, the MotoGP Championship. To be held on the 29th, 30th and 31st of October, the two wheel fans will be able to attend the 17th season race.

A race that will mark the debut of the new Moto2 category in Portugal and that may be decisive in the attribution of the three world championship titles.  A race where Valentino Rossi will do his best to beat his rivals Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa and, thus, guarantee his tenth career crown, the eighth on the queen category – as many as the legendary Giacomo Agostini.

Concerning the new faces in MotoGP, a special mention to the last 250cc World Champion Hiroshi Aoyama with the Interwetten Honda MotoGP Team, the 2008 250cc World Champion Marco Simoncelli with the San Carlo Honda Gresini, Hector Barbera and Alex Espargaró with the Aspar Ducati, Ben Spies with the Monster Yamaha Tech3 and Álvaro Bautista with the Rizia Suzuky.

A season that promises to be one of the most exciting among the past years with the Moto2 novelty and with the MotoGP attendance of 17 pilots, among which, 13 have already conquered world sceptres in 125cc, 250cc, 500cc, MotoGP and SBK categories!
