Racetrack new project- a museum for classic cars
If you have a classic car and not know where to take it for a tour without risking that someone will turn it into junk?
The Circuit wants to create a dynamic museum to save the relics of the past and allow them to be driven by their owners at the racetrack, at the end of the day or during weekends.
Many garages and parking lots safely store hundreds of classic cars. Most, however, will collect dust, because owners fear the chaos of city traffic. Domingos Piedade, president of CE-CircuitoEstoril, backs the creation of a museum at the track "It will be a place where classic car owners can have their competition racing cars, come up here and take advantage of optimum conditions of our track.
In addition to storing the cars, the museum will also have a component of vocational training for mechanics, which ensure the maintenance of vehicles, so they are able to function.
