Emotion and uncertainty were assured. A close race in which the difference between the two pairs that took the lead in the race was never more than 1s throughout the 17 laps scheduled for the Estoril Circuit.

A cannonball start from the national champion, Gonçalo Ribeiro and Martim Marco, who after one lap already had more than 10 seconds of lead over the peloton, with Ribeiro’s advantage being that, not wanting to leave his credits in other people’s hands, he showed signs of wanting to close the season in big. On the other hand, Wagner Pederneira, Isaac Rosa and Ricardo Rodrigues were discussing 3rd place.

With half a distance covered, Ribeiro was leading with more than 2s of advantage over Martim Marco with the interest of the race centered on the fight for 3rd place between Rosa, Pederneira and Rodrigues with the trio competing at times for braking for turn 1 side by side.

With half a distance covered, Camoesas was already more than 15s behind the leading pair, Tiago João, the first among the PREMOTO3s, running in 4th position. Rafaela was 8th. It is worth highlighting the withdrawals of Tiago Martins due to a fall in turn 1 and Naama Rosa due to mechanical issues.

On the penultimate lap, a “photofinish” decision between Borges and Jesus was already anticipated, with the latter recording the fastest lap at this stage of the race and with just 0.078s separating the two drivers.
