ESTORIL CNV#3 \u2013 The start of the second phase of the season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On September 6th and 7th, the Estoril circuit will once again be the stage for the return of the Campeonato Nacional de Velocidade(CNV) with the 4th round of the 2025 season after the long-awaited summer break. This third visit to Estoril will once again feature the MOTO4, MOTO5, SSP300, PREMOTO3, NAKED BIKES TROPHY, DUNLOP MOTOVAL CUP, SBK, and STK600 categories. Saturday morning will be dedicated to two timed practice sessions for each category, with the first races taking place in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

MOTO 4 \/ MOTO 5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Tom\u00e1s Carneiro wins in MOTO 5 \/ <\/strong>Tom\u00e1s Garcia dos Santos consolidates his lead in MOTO 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the start of the second phase of this season, Tom\u00e1s Carneiro holds the lead in MOTO 4, but is “tackling” Gon\u00e7alo Santos. Meanwhile, dominance in MOTO 5 falls to Tom\u00e1s Garcia dos Santos, who returns to the Estoril circuit with 115 points, but with his teammate, Tom\u00e1s Canarias, totaling 101.<\/p>\n

With the timed results consolidated, the grid formation for the start of the second part of the 2025 MOTO 4 and MOTO 5 seasons was set. Naturally, the two MOTO 4 entrants, Samuel Di Maria and Tom\u00e1s Carneiro, dominated, easily placing their BEONs on the front row, respectively, with Di Maria taking pole position. Rounding out the front row of the grid was the first Moto5 class, in the hands of championship leader Tom\u00e1s Garcia dos Santos. Also worthy of mention are the female Moto5 class riders, Carolina Azevedo and Lara Pinto, who finished 8th and 9th, respectively.<\/p>\n

A clean start, with Di Maria (MOTO4) taking the lead in the race braking for Turn 1, with Tom\u00e1s Carneiro (MOTO4) having no choice but to follow. The two MOTO4 riders quickly opened up a gap on the remaining field, all of which were MOTO5 riders, with Tom\u00e1s Carneiro being the strongest. But the sun would be short-lived for Di Maria, who crashed at Turn 4 on the second lap, losing the lead. The Beon rider returned to the track moments later in 6th place overall. With this “slip,” Tom\u00e1s Carneiro took the lead and in less than three laps, he was already more than 17 seconds behind the other riders. In MOTO4, Tom\u00e1s Santos was 2nd overall and leading the class, with Tom\u00e1s Canarias in 3rd overall.<\/p>\n

Carneiro effortlessly managed his distance and crossed the finish line on the top step of the podium, the strongest in the Moto4 class. Di Maria, for his part, after the initial setback, managed to race from back to front and finished 2nd overall, largely due to the difference in pace between the two classes. Di Maria thus moved into the middle of the podium in the Moto4 class.<\/p>\n

Among the MOTO5 riders, Tom\u00e1s dos Santos finished 3rd overall, but was winning the class. Meanwhile, Tom\u00e1s Canarias held 4th overall, and Jo\u00e3o Cancelinha finished 5th overall, rounding out the top three in the class and the podium. Carolina Azevedo (MOTO5) finished 6th.<\/p>\n

SSP300 \/ PREMOTO3<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

SSP30 leader Afonso Almeida scores another victory \/ Vasco Camoesas is on his way to the title.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the SUPERSPORT 300 (SSP300), Vasco Camoesas is the driver in focus, as with 150 points this season, he held a large lead over Rodrigo Asensio (100 points) and Henrique Vicente (92 points). Also in the SSP300, Rafaela Peixoto and Carlota Carochinho also stood out, adding a feminine touch to one of the most competitive grids in the CNV. In PREMOTO3, leader Afonso Almeida, with 125 points, held a large lead over Alexandre Cab\u00e1, who would try to stay in the fight with his 85 points.<\/p>\n

Qualifying closed with pole position for Afonso Almeida (PREMOTO3), flanked by Alexandre Cab\u00e1 and Gon\u00e7alo Santos, drivers in the same class. Vasco Camoesas, the championship leader in SSP300, was also starting in 6th place on the grid. Cab\u00e1 would ultimately not participate. The weekend also featured drivers Isaac Rosa (SSP300), who started in 11th place on the grid, and Marco Holt (PREMOTO3), 14th on the grid. They rode at Estoril only for practice, their performance not being included in the final standings.<\/p>\n

The green light and the usual battle of giants under braking for Estoril’s Turn 1 gave Afonso Almeida (PREMOTO3) the advantage, who with a solid start managed to hold the lead. Gon\u00e7alo Matos (PREMOTO3) and C\u00e9lestin Masy (PREMOTO3) took the lead. Vasco Camoesas, first among the SSP300s, took 5th place, with his class’s main competitors, Martim Garcia and Rodrigo Asensio, in 7th and 8th place overall. In the women’s category, Rafaela Peixoto and Carlota Carochinho were in 15th and 18th place.<\/p>\n

A solid race for Afonso Almeida, who comfortably held a 40-second lead over the rest at the checkered flag. Another victory for the PREMOTO3 leader in the championship standings. The battle for the middle podium was fiercely fought, with Gon\u00e7alo Santos edging out a meager 0.130 seconds over C\u00e9lestin Masy to secure 2nd place at the finish line. On the SSP300 podium, Vasco Camoesas took the top spot, finishing 5th overall, with Martim Garcia and Rodrigo Asensio celebrating alongside him, finishing 6th and 7th, respectively, in the overall standings. Young driver Rafaela Peixoto was the only female rider to finish the race, finishing 14th.<\/p>\n

NAKED BIKES TROPHY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Ferreira Unopposed in NB1 \/ Fr\u00e9d\u00e8ric Bottoglieri Continues in NB2<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the highly competitive NAKED BIKES peloton, and in what is the 5th round of the season, after two stints in Estoril, one in Portim\u00e3o and another in Jerez, Duarte Amaral (NB1) leads in absolute terms with 150 points. Fr\u00e9d\u00e8ric Bottoglieri (leader in NB2) with 136 points and Lu\u00eds Franco (NB1) with 134 points would be competing in this restart of the season.<\/p>\n

With Duarte Amaral absent from the 3rd round of the CNV in Estoril, Lu\u00eds Ferreira (NB1) took pole position in the return of the NAKED BIKES, much to the surprise of his main rivals. Lu\u00eds Franco lined up alongside Ferreira in the same class, with the front row being filled by NB2 leader Fr\u00e9d\u00e8ric Bottoglieri. Ricardo Almeida, in 4th, rounded out the top three in NB1, and had to drop down to 9th and 10th on the grid to find 2nd and 3rd in NB2, Marcos Leal and Anselmo Vilardebo. Honda’s guest rider, Bruno Gomes, would race alone in NB3.<\/p>\n

The green light for 10 laps of Estoril saw Lu\u00eds Ferreira take the lead, with Ricardo Almeida, starting from 4th on the grid, grabbing 2nd. Bottoglieri was closely following, with Lu\u00eds Franco hot on his heels. With 5 laps to go, Ferreira (NB1) held an 11-second lead, and Bottoglieri (NB2) took 2nd, with Ricardo Almeida and Lu\u00eds Franco battling it out for 3rd.<\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Ferreira secured a clear path to the top step of the podium and became the strongest rider in the NB1 class. Fr\u00e9d\u00e8ric Bottoglieri, 2nd overall, secured another victory on his way to the NB2 title. Ricardo Almeida grabbed the lowest step of the podium, finishing 2nd in the NB1 class, and Lu\u00eds Franco finished in the top three in the class in 4th overall. Marcos Leal in 9th and Anselmo Vilardebo in 10th completed the TOP3 in NB2 and accompanied Bottoglieri on the podium.<\/p>\n

SBK \/ DUNLOP MOTOVAL CUP \/ STK600<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sheridan Morais dominates in SBK \/ Jacobo Navarro wins in STK600 \/ Dany Soares tops in CDM2 \/ Wagner Pederneira leads in CDM1<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the powerful SBK class, Sheridan Rodrigues occupies the top spot in the championship standings. With 150 points, Sheridan arrived in Estoril comfortably, with Ricardo Lopes (100p) and Miguel Rom\u00e3o (80p) hot on his heels. In the Dunlop Motoval Cup and Class 1 (CDM1), Wagner Pederneira arrives in Estoril leading with 136 points, but with Tiago Pires (116p) and Manuel Teixeira (109p) lurking for an opportunity. In Class 2 (CDM2), Ricardo Rodrigues was the clear leader with 135 points, followed by Vasco Silva (93p) and Rui Palma (87p). Among the Superstock 600 (STK600) riders, Martim Jesus would come to Estoril to defend his championship lead, where he already has 115 points, against Vitor Silva, who with 102 points is his main rival at this stage of the season. A little further back, with 72 points, was Rui Afonso.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, and continuing his dominance, Sheridan Rodrigues (SBK) took his place on pole for the start of Saturday’s final race, scheduled for 15 laps. Alongside him was another SBK rider, Ricardo Lopes. Rounding out the front row of the grid was the first STK600 rider, Martim Jesus. Meanwhile, Dany Soares, the top-ranked CDM2 rider, started from 8th, and Wagner Pederneira, the current leader in the CDM1 riders, was 18th.<\/p>\n

Sheridan’s cannonball start gave Ricardo Lopes no chance to bother him when braking for turn 1. Hot on the heels of the two SBK riders was Gon\u00e7alo Capote, who surprised everyone by coming from 6th on the grid to take 3rd place and the lead in the STK600. Three laps later, Sheridan had a 3-second lead over Lopes, but this time Jacobo Navarro (STK600) had “stolen” the spot from Gon\u00e7alo Capote (STK600), who was now battling with Martim Marco (STK600) and Martim Jesus (STK600). It was the beginning of Navarro’s “show.” Right behind him, Dany Soares led the CDM2 class. Wagner Pederneira moved up two places and was now 16th, leading the CDM1 class.<\/p>\n

Two laps later, Ricardo Lopes saw 2nd place slip away to a very inspired Jacobo Navarro, who launched his STK600 in pursuit of Sheridan Morais. With a clear loss of pace, Lopes also saw Gon\u00e7alo Capote (STK600) take 3rd place overall at the start of the final lap. At the finish line, Sheridan had secured another victory this season, further cementing his lead in the Superbike championship. Meanwhile, Jacobo Navarro took his STK600 to 2nd place overall, winning the class. Gon\u00e7alo Capote finished the 15 laps in 3rd place overall, finishing 2nd in the STK600.<\/p>\n

By class and as far as the TOP 3 are concerned, in SBK, Sheridan won and was accompanied by Ricardo Lopes and Daniel Coelho (7th overall) on the podium. In STK600, victory went to Jacobo Navarro in the company of Gon\u00e7alo Capote and Martim Marco (5th overall). In CDM2, Dany Soares won with Vasco Silva (13th) and S\u00e9rgio Fajardo (18th) completing the class. In CDM1, Perderneira (15th) adds and follows Tiago Pires (17th) and Manuel Teixeira (19th) closing the podium.<\/p>\n
