There are 14 drivers who will compete for victory in the TCR Spain stage, which is also in Estoril as an integral part of the official F4 Spain program.
The Portuguese Estoril track hosts a new race in which fourteen drivers will fight for victory, both in the main category and in the TCR Cup Spain. After the victory in the opening round in Navarra, Quique Bordás starts as favorite, but will have to deal with rivals the size of Álvaro García, with very few points, or with the several drivers who will make their debut on the Portuguese track and who arrive here with “hungry of victories.”
The weekend will begin on Saturday with the first free practice session at 10:30 am; and again from 1:10 p.m. The qualifying session will take place at 5:40 pm, determining the starting positions for Sunday’s two races. The first of them will be held from 10 am, and the second scheduled from 1:30 pm. In these, in addition to the relevant points for both TCR Spain, TCR Cup Spain and the TCR Spain Junior Spanish Trophy, the last points in play for the TCR World Ranking will be distributed.
This weekend is the last in which points can be added towards the classification that gives access to the TCR world final, in which both the TCR World Tour world champion riders and the best classified in the TCR World Ranking will compete. That’s why this weekend in Estoril takes on a very special importance in the TCR world, giving TCR Spain an unprecedented media image. Both races can be followed live on TCR TV.
