CNV II / 2026 – June 6th / 7th – Preview
The Campeonato Nacional de Velocidade (CNV) returns this weekend to the Estoril Circuit for the 2nd stage of the 2026 season’s sporting calendar. Teams, riders and the public were welcomed with a mild morning where the sun played “hide-and-seek” with the clouds.
With a total of 76 entries (13 more than in CNV I), the Estoril circuit is the stage for new duels in the Superbikes (SBK), Supersport 600 (SSP), Naked Bikes Trophy (NB), Dunlop Motoval Cup (CDM), CNV Moto 4 (CNVM4), Supersport 300 (SSP 300), CNV Sportbike, PREMOTO4 and CNV Junior categories.
For this second visit to Estoril, and regarding the categories, Luís Ferreira and Ricardo Lopes are tied for the lead in Superbikes (SBK) with 45 points. In Supersport 600 (SSP), and after a double victory in the first race of the season, Martim Jesus leads (50 points).
The same scenario in CNV Sportbike with Tiago João also leading with 50 points, resulting from his double victory in CNV I. In the always very competitive Supersport 300 (SSP 300), the lead is shared with 50 points between Henrique Vicente and Vasco Camoesas. Finally, in Moto 4 (CNVM4), the likeable Alexandre Cabá leads with 45 points.
In the PREMOTO4 category, it’s worth noting the absence of Marcos Ascencio, the overall leader with 50 points, leaving the championship battle wide open between Santiago Solari (40 points) and Tiago Tomé (32 points). In the CNV JUNIOR category, Carolina Azevedo leads the women’s division with 45 points.
In the Dunlop Motoval Cup (CDM), and regarding the CDM1 category, it’s worth noting the presence of only Carlos Couto, currently 3rd in the class with 32 points. He has all the conditions to take the lead in this class given the absences of Elliot Bland and Tiago Pires.
It should be noted that for the Naked Bikes Trophy (NB), this weekend is actually the 3rd round of the current 2026 season, as riders and teams have already participated in Jerez after the CNV I. After the two rounds, Duarte Amaral (85 points) leads in the NB1 category, and Frédèric Bottoglieri (100 points) is the standout in the NB2 category.
This anticipates a day and weekend full of action, adrenaline, and uncertainty regarding the results
