Almost without time to rest after the Jerez race, the Spanish Formula 4 Championship faces its fifth race of the year at the Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva (Estoril) this weekend (September 29th to October 1st). There will once again be 35 drivers competing on the Portuguese track with the return of Hiyu Yamakoshi to the Tecnicar Formula de Campeones after his absence in Jerez or the championship debuts of Sebastian Murray (Sainteoc Racing) and Valentin Kluss (MP Motorsport).

After his fifth victory of the year, Theophile Nael (Sainteloc Racing) is more leader than ever with 55 points ahead of his closest rival, the Italian Valerio Rinicella (MP Motorsport) with 141, while Enzo Deligny (Campos Racing), Christian Ho (Campos Racing) Racing) and Pedro Clerot (MP Motorsport) complete a top 5 that can still do many laps until the end of the season.

Teams and drivers face an action-packed weekend that begins on Friday with four collective training sessions to acclimatize to the Portuguese track. Saturday will bring together the two free practice sessions, the first qualifying session of the race and the first race of the weekend, scheduled for 3:55 pm local time.

For its part, Sunday’s agenda will include the second qualifying session, the short race in Estoril at 11:45 am local time and the last race of the weekend, which will take place at 2:30 pm local time.

All races will be available live on the Spanish F4 Championship YouTube channel. Additionally, race 3 can also be seen live on RTVE Play.
